VIDEO: Pop-up performances launch Lincoln All For One choir
The Lincoln All For One choir is going from strength to strength, after pop-up performances around Lincoln in September.
Despite only forming this year, they will be performing in the Waterside Shopping Centre throughout December, hope to see an annual concert at Lincoln Cathedral and have been booked to sing at a Christmas fair.
The organisers of the gift and food fair got in touch with the choir, after seeing the choir perform and asked if they would perform at the fair to be held at The Lincolnshire Showground on November 23.
The pop, rock and gospel choir is comprised of nearly 40 members.
Helen Garnett, the choirs founder and east Yorkshire director said: “In growing our network of choirs, we hope to further increase the good works we are able to do for charity.
"So far since our inception in January 2011, we have collectively raised £20000 and hope to raise another £6000 before the years end for various charities, including Lincolnshire’s community Larder, and the Roy castle Lung Cancer foundation.”
The choir is actively encouraging people to join. There are no auditions and no experience is necessary and you do not need to read music. You can come along for a free taster by booking at www.allforonechoir.com
