Julie Felix arrived in England in 1964 and was the first solo folk artist to be signed to a major British record company, Decca.

In 1966 Felix became the resident singer on the popular BBC TV programme The Frost Report and has had a hugely successful career as a singer songwriter.

On her 70th birthday in June 2008 she performed live on stage and she appears in Boston this weekend.
