A man has been assaulted at Lincoln bus station.

An altercation between two males took place at stand E in Melville Street after the Birchwood bus had just arrived at around 2.15pm on Wednesday.

The incident ended with a male suspect punching the victim before walking off.

It is believed there were lots of witnesses in the area and police are asking for them to contact PC 855 Parker on 101, quoting reference 32120048968.
