Village LIVES group already proving its worth
A NEWLY established group is already helping to save lives in the Sleaford area.
Swaton village recently set up its own LIVES first responder group following a public meeting held to gauge support for the scheme in June.
The service went live on August 28 and in their first month, up to September 24, the team attended eight separate incidents in Threckingham, Folkingham, Pointon, Scredington, Billingborough, Great Hale and Heckington.
Last week's parish council meeting heard that a number of people had been trained to Level One responder level and three people had been trained to Level 2.
