Villages set to change parliamentary constituency

A GROUP of east coast villages are to move constituency at the next General Election.

The villages were all formally under the Louth and Horncastle parliamentary constituency banner but will now move to be part of Boston and Skegness.

The boundary changes will come into effect on the dissolution of Parliament for the next General Election.

The villages affected are: Bratoft (112 electors), Firsby (222), Great Steeping (236), Irby in the Marsh (142), Little Steeping (164), and Thorpe St Peter (264).
