For this year's Comic Relief, eight brave volunteers from across the region have put themselves forward to perform their very own stand-up routine at a free event in the Lincoln Drill Hall café bar on Monday, March 11.

These novice performers attended advice evenings led by local comedian Alfie Moore, who will also be performing on the night.

BBC Radio Lincolnshire presenter Melvyn Prior will be co-hosting the event with Alfie Moore, and it is hoped the night will raise as much money as possible for the 25th anniversary of Red Nose Day.

Support the performers by heading along to watch the evening's entertainment from 7pm.
