Ross Walker faces his mentor as he makes British Supersport debut at Croft
THE pupil will line up against the teacher this weekend when Ross Walker makes his British Supersport debut at Croft.
The Lincoln rider will join the Lowes twins and his mentor Ben Wilson on the Supersport grid on a privately-entered Kawasaki 600, formerly run by Wilson's Gearlink Kawasaki team.

Ross Walker.
After recovering from the broken collarbone he suffered at Snetterton in July, Walker is making the step up after outgrowing the British 125GP class.
Wilson, from Boston, played a key role in the 17-year-old's career when he taught him bike skills at Lincoln's Mary Knox Centre.
"I worked with him at the Mary Knox Centre and took him under my wing and tried to give him some advice," explained Wilson, who teaches bike skills three days a week.
"We'll see if it pays off when he gets on a Supersport bike.
"It's going to be a rude awakening for him, but hopefully he will get on well.
"He's more suited to a 600 and hopefully he'll move forward and give it a good go.
"The only advice I can give him is get out there and keep your lines tight.
"There's not a lot you can say to someone when they're starting out, apart from 'enjoy it'.
"He shouldn't expect too much straight away, just to learn."
