Webchat: The Lunchtime Kick-Off with Leigh Curtis
Lincoln City secured a much-needed win at the weekend beating Southport 1-0 thanks to Alan Power's 10th goal of the season.
Afterwards, Gary Simpson, who secured a triumphant homecoming as new Imps boss, said he would still like to strengthen the squad.

Two strikers and a midfielder were due to link-up with the Imps today as Simpson continues to beef up his options.
It has also been a busy week for departures with Colin Larkin, Gary Mills and Conal Platt all leaving the club.

“Hi leigh, I notice Gary Simpson (quite rightly in my view) has said he intends to select big, tall, strong players in the future. Does this mean the writing could be on the wall for Power, Taylor ,Ect and any of the smaller players who he might think arnt good enough simply because they aren't very tall. While going for taller player players in the future he must make sure they are good headers of the ball, because we rearly miss out on corners, set pieces Ect simply because we have no good headers of the ball at present at the club Mikecadwel”

“How did it come to this? Crossing our fingers and hoping that we wouldn't get relegated from the Blue Square Prem after 5 years of Playoffs? I still have the copy of the Green 'Un where you were heavilty critical of John Schofield for only getting us to 6th and bowing out the playoffs early doors. You were right to be critical at the time, but has the been any one decision or key decisions that have brought us to this or any set of people to blame in your view?”
