Lincoln United recorded a desperately needed win at home to Coalville Town on Tuesday.

The 2-1 victory, only their third of the season, saw United haul themselves off the bottom of the Evo-Stik League Division One (South).

Terry Fleming's side travel to fifth-placed Northwich Victoria on Saturday as they look to build some momentum this season.

Sleaford Town took all three crucial points in their relegation scrap at Harborough Town.

The 2-1 victory gives Sleaford's survival chances a welcome boost in the United Counties League Premier Division.

They are now fifth from bottom with 11 points from 12 games, four points above the relegation zone.

Town face a tough task at the weekend when they host fifth-placed Deeping Rangers.

Fellow UCL Premier side Boston Town once again suffered defeat at the weekend, going down 3-1 at fourth-placed Quorn.

Town are without a league win since September 22.

The Poachers' attention will now turn to the cup when they host Harborough Town in the United Counties League Cup on Saturday.

Grantham Town were beaten 3-2 at home by Hednesford at the weekend.

The defeat saw the Gingerbreads slip to 16th in the league, three points off the relegation zone in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division.

They host sixth-placed Chorley on Saturday.

In the Northern Counties East League Division One, Louth Town continued their fine season with a 4-1 victory at Dinnington. Matt Kennedy scored a hat-trick.

Daryl Clare's side host Eccleshill United on Saturday looking for another victory.
