Lincoln City 0 Woking 2 - full time
Lincoln City produced one of their most disappointing home performances of the season as they lost 2-0 against Woking last night.
The Imps got off to the worst possible start when they fell behind to Kevin Betsy’s penalty after only four minutes.
-

City tried desperately to engineer an equaliser before half-time, but could not find a breakthrough.
Bradley Bubb then made it 2-0 to the visitors in the 67th minute finishing smartly from Lee Sawyer’s pass.

It could have been worse for Lincoln when Billy Knott found space in the box, but his shot was brilliantly saved by Paul Farman.
Lincoln attempted to build pressure in the final stages, but Woking held firm as David Holdsworth’s side lost further ground on the top seven in the Blue Square Bet Premier table.

“.....aaaaaaaahhh bless isn't that sweet, Fishy has found himself a mate and good to see you've come to your senses and watch the mighty Imps rather than your Codheads. Imps to beat Dartford 3-2 tomorrow and then the Codheads 3-1 when its their turn next. C'mon you Imps! :)”

“H Fishy
I agree the allocation is derisory with the expected demand from Town fans but I am sure the revenue implications to the Imps will increase the allocation for Boxing Day.
Should be a great atmosphete on Boxing day whatever and I am hopeful we will skate past the opposition and plaice the ball repeatedly in the Imp's net.
Banter apart., good luck to the Imps for your replay against Mansfield.”

“Taylor almost certainly got his yellow on purpose - but lets hope it doesn't come back to bite him if Saturday's match gets cancelled! as for losing - it can't be a massive surprise considering where all the players' heads are at right now and a team shuffle just does not work for us right now. Still its out of the way now and the players need to regroup for Saturday and put up more of a fight. UTI”
