THE 2009 Wolds Walking Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever before with over 90 exciting walks taking over the next few weeks.

All walks are by experienced walk leaders, and more than 80 of them are free. Many walks have been designed with a twist such as a Chocolate Walk, Ice Cream walks, Medieval Villages, Ghost walks, Coastal walks and Tennyson trail to name just a few.

Something to suit everyone is at the heart of the programme in an attempt to encourage you to take to the Wolds and surrounding countryside for fresh air and a glimpse of the breathtaking views that make Lincolnshire and its towns and villages so special.
