Woman in critical condition following crash near Cranwell
A 44-year-old woman is in a critical condition after her car collided with another near Cranwell.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Nissan X-Trail were involved in the head-on collision which saw both vehicles end up in the roadside ditch.
The driver of the Corsa was a 44-year-old Grantham woman, she sustained multiple injuries and is in the ICU at the Queens Medical Centre in a critical condition. Two passengers in the Corsa were taken to Lincoln County Hospital. A 15-year-old boy suffered a suspected broken arm and a 7-year-old boy suffered from shock.
The driver of the Nissan was a 39-year-old woman from Cranwell she was taken to Lincoln Hospital and released after treatment fro minor injuries. The 64-year-old woman passenger from Leasingham was detained overnight in QMC with suspected broken ribs.

The road was closed yesterday and eventually re-opened at 10pm last night.
The collision happened at about 5.45pm yesterday on the B6403 High Dyke approximately two miles south of the A17 at Byards Leap.
