Woman gets booze ban after arrest for being 'hopelessly drunk' in Skegness
A 24-YEAR-old woman, who was drunk and trying to get money to continue drinking, verbally abused a police officer.
Yadette Diane Pratt of East View Terrace, Roman Bank, Skegness, admitted being drunk and disorderly on December 8 when she appeared before magistrates at Skegness.

Prosecuting, Marie Stace said Ms Pratt called the police at about 8.20pm from a Skegness pub, to say she had to go to her partner's address to get her money and an officer agreed to accompany her.
When her partner said she had no money there, the officer took her to another pub in Lumley Square but when they got there, she started shouting and swearing and was then arrested.

The court was told Pratt was subject to a 10-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, which had been imposed for assault and theft in February.
Mitigating, Gordon Holt asked the magistrates not to impose the suspended prison sentence as the offence she was appearing for was not custodial.
He said she was 'hopelessly drunk' on the day and her partner had left her in the town and she had no money.
Mr Holt said she was three quarters of the way through her suspended sentence and was now off alcohol because of medication she had been prescribed.
Magistrates ordered for the suspended sentence to continue to run and they imposed an order prohibiting her from consuming alcohol in any public place for the remainder of the period of the suspended sentence.
Pratt was also fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 towards the court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
