The £20 million deal will see long-awaited plans to consolidate Siemens' gas turbine service business into one location.
The move will mean 500 jobs previously at risk will be secured.
The development will occupy 11 acres of Teal Park, off Whisby Road. It will include a 50,000sq ft office and an 85,000sq ft service workshop, with surplus land to allow for future expansion.
Work is expected to be completed by next December.
Siemen's Firth Road site will continue to operate until the end of 2012, while the Ruston site will remain open following the move.

“iv never heard anything more correct than what thomassina said. brilliant piece of writing.
im 20 and i WORK for a living, so i agree that people on the dole should be made to do community service everynow and then, instead of sitting on their rear end pretending to look for a job.”

“There is obviously a great need to completely dual the whole of the Lincoln bypass. This short stretch which I understand has been funded by the developers is not enough. So, what if the vehicles going to teal park are coming from the other way that is not dualled then what? All this will do is cause a bottle neck in the traffic. If the tories are hoping for the Humber Bank area to be the new area of weath and expansion then billions, and I mean billions needs spending. The railways in Lincolnshire need dragging kicking and screaming into the 21st century and we need to get the convicts out of places like Lincoln prison into chain gangs and dual the A15 from Lincoln to the A180 junction nr Scunthorpe.. We can get the workshy dole hangers digging the roads too and get them out of their daytime drinking and watching Jeremy Kyle routine...”
