Work is to begin on a new zebra crossing in Heath Road at RAF Digby on Monday, February 18.

The improvement for pedestrians will be carried out under temporary two-way traffic lights, from Monday to Saturday, lasting two weeks subject to weather conditions.

  1. Road works

The new crossing will then be resurfaced on the weekends of March 16 and 17, and 23 and 24. Heath Road will be closed and traffic will be diverted via B1191, B1188, B1202, A15 and vice versa.

Roman Mastakov, project officer, said: "We will resurface either side of the new zebra crossing in March once the weather conditions have improved, to make sure the work is a success. The road will be fully open for motorists to use outside of these dates."
