“Why is this man being prosecuted?

Nerijus should be commended for his improved behaviour.

Instead of stealing to buy heroin, he is now stealing a socially approved medicine from the oldest registered distillery in the United States.

Made from pure, iron-free cave spring water, the entire whiskey-making process of milling, yeasting, fermentation, distillation, charcoal mellowing, and maturation.is overseen by a Master Distiller.

By stealing Jack Daniels Nerijus has shown he is heading for rehabilitation.

Moreover if he was so drunk that he can't remember anything about the incident, this demonstrates not only the effectiveness of a product wisely chosen, but also the possibility, in solipsistic terms, that it never happened.

The conviction is unsafe. The store security guards were obviously not enjoying the benefits of a relaxing, smooth glass of whisky at the time or they would have also not remembered catching Mr Razma, his forgetting to pay or to change the tape.

Crime experts and aluminium saucepan users all know what a tricky thing memory can be.
