World's largest recycling plant up to standard
West Lindsey's site of the world's largest and most sophisticated plastics recycling facility has won another major award.
Eco Plastics' plant at Hemswell Cliff, which is now capable of processing 150,000 tonnes of mixed plastics a year, has been awarded a top health and safety management standard.
The Eco's health, safety, environmental and fire manager David Jarvis said: "As a forward-thinking and responsible company, securing the OHSAS 18001 was a crucial step in demonstrating Eco Plastics' dedication to its staff.
"This systematic approach to safety forms part of the positive management culture we are working towards."
