All The Young set to rock this city
Ahead of their visit to Lincoln to support Kaiser Chiefs at the Engine Shed, Lewis King caught up with All The Young, pictured, to find out why they are not just another Indie band...
With the screeching sound of dial up modem like noise that we call dub-step dominating the charts and clubs, it seemed like good classic guitar rock was dead.

That's what it felt like last year until it hit August.
In the space of a week I got to see two of my all-time favourite bands in the same city: Muse at Leeds Festival and Kaiser Chiefs in a massive outdoor gig in their hometown.
And now with the Kaisers beginning their new tour, Brit-rock is coming back with force. When they hit the Engine Shed on February 7 supporting them is a band that's part of a refreshing new generation.
Influenced by classic artists such as The Smith's Morrissey and Bob Dylan, All The Young are not just some obscure Indie band that no-one cares about.
They've been nominated in XFM's 12 for 2012 and NME's 100 new bands of 2012. They are a band with attitude and describe themselves on Facebook as "having the brains and bravery to smash into a brave new frontier of Indie rock 'n' roll."
All The Young frontman Ryan Dooley says: "The Beatles, The Clash, Manic Street Preachers, they're all proper bands that have meant something and had brains to their music."
You can tell with Ryan's look and style he's a big Morrissey fan.
Not only has he had the chance to meet his hero but was also personally invited to support him.
"It's pretty crazy," says Ryan. "But he's a lovely bloke, too cool for school.
"A very unique person would be the right words to describe him."
The Kaiser Chiefs will now be a new addition to the list of acts that they've played with including The Courteeners, Hard-Fi, The Wombats and The Pigeon Detectives.
Ryan says: "We've been going for about two years now. Me and my brother Jack, whose also in the band, have played music since school."
Jack is All The Young's bassist alongside drummer Will Heaney and guitarist David Cartwright.
"It's come together well and I think we've got a strong group," says Ryan.
"We've all played in bands in our teens so we've made all the mistakes we could've made.
"Our favourite track is called The Horizon which comes out in March.
"It's always gone down well in gigs. We'll definitely play it when we come in February."
All The Young will support the Kaiser Chiefs at the Engine Shed in Lincoln on February 7.
