Zumba, zorbing, a monk and clown
Entertainment to keep all the family – from toddlers to granny – amused is being promised by the organisers of this year's Bardney gala, which will take place on Sunday, August 25.
There will be a medieval monk talking about his life and times while giving interactive demonstrations of medieval cooking, Leyo the clown for younger visitors and live music from various bands. Also, zumba demonstrations, street dance workshops and classic vehicles are on display.
Youngsters will also be able to enjoy rides, zorbing and a bucking bronco. Children's races are always popular at the event as well, with every child receiving a prize for taking part and medals for the winners. There will also be races for parents and grandparents brave enough to try.
Competitions to take part in will include cookery, photography (animal antics), the largest vegetable and arts and crafts with categories for children and adults. Make sure you take along your four-legged friend for the Novelty Dog Show and a Dog Agility Competition.
