RECYCLE AUCTIONS

Recycle Auctions is a local community micro-business set up to help bring buyers and sellers of second hand household and shop clearance goods together in a friendly, sociable atmosphere.

Your auctioneer, Ben Bowser has run this event every Monday, year round for the past 3 years. He strives to offer a trustworthy and dependable service and hopes to build a loyal customer base through his long term commitment to Recycle Auctions in the Lincoln area.

You can find Recycle Auctions at the bottom of Moor Lane in North Hykeham. Sales are held outdoors in the yard of 'The Harrows' Pub, opposite All Saints Church, from April to October. In the winter months we cross the road and sell from 'The Ark' - a nice, spacious and warm community hall!

We sell all sorts! Individual lots and boxes of bric-a-brac arrive every Monday including bank holidays, 7 am to 9.30. Plenty of vendors (sellers), ensure a variety of goods -offering something of interest to all. Viewing carries on up to the start of the auction at 10.30am.

Great news for sellers - we charge a flat 15% commission on sales with no entry fees or charge for setting a 'Reserve' (minimum price below which an item must not be sold). AND WE PAY OUT STRAIGHT AFTER THE AUCTION !

Great news for buyers too. we charge a 10% fee on all sale prices. We take payment 'as we go' so there's no need to register. AND, IF YOU LIVE LOCALLY, WE CAN DELIVER YOUR LOTS AFTER THE SALE FOR JUST £3.00.

Vendors with larger items or house/garage clearances should come in on the day of the sale to discuss their requirements with Mr Bowser. Alternatively telephone to arrange an appointment for the van to call and collect.
