Baby and Toddler of the Year 2009

Once again our Baby and Toddler of the Year competition has proved a huge success, with parents queuing to have their beautiful babies and toddlers photographed. This year more than 600 children came to the Waterside Shopping Centre to have their photographs taken – all of them feature in a special photo special within the Lincolnshire Echo on Monday, May 18.

If you have entered your child in the competition, make a note of their unique voting number and the page number they appear on within the photo special and fill in the voting form that also appears. The 20 most voted for babies from each category, 0-9 months, 10- 18 months, 19-36 months and 3-5 years, will go through to the second stage of voting, which will determine who will be crowned Baby or Toddler of the Year 2009. To get your favourite into the top 80, all you have to do is start voting! A voting form will appear in the paper every day until Thursday, June 18. Remember, you can vote as many times as you like.

The 80 finalists will appear in a special pullout, published on Tuesday, June 30, when the second stage of voting will commence to determine the winners of each of the four age categories as well as the Baby or Toddler of the Year 2009. The overall winner will scoop the top prize of £1,000, a professional portrait and the prestigious Baby or Toddler of the year 2009 trophy. A winner from each of the four categories will win £500 and a professional portrait. Plus, the mother of the overall winner will receive a pair of Wella Digital Hair Straighteners and a free cut and blow dry courtesy of Stringers, Lincoln.
