“It never ceases to amaze me how different the fine can be for the same ofence of having no TV licence. How does one person get a fine of £30.00 and another get a fine of £500.00. Obviously there may be a bit of leniency for those that bother to turn up in court but £30.00 for not buying a £142.00 licence isn't bad going.”
