EVENTS are being held across North Kesteven throughout October for all ages and abilities as part of The Big Draw.

The month-long nationwide festival involves promoting drawing and creativity for children, adults and families.

Events will take place at Navigation Wharf, Sleaford, on Sunday, October 14 from 11am to 4pm with free entry to a day of children's drawing activities.

Barry Bailey will be sketching and drawing Cogglesford Mill, East Road, Sleaford, on Sunday, October 21, between 11am to 4pm at a free event.

And Mrs Smith's Cottage, on East Road at Navenby, will host a have-a-go at painting, demonstrations and competitions on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday 7 from 1pm to 4pm.

Materials will be provided with a cost of £2 for adults and children. No booking needed.

The National Centre for Craft and Design, Sleaford will host a mass pavement drawing illustration on October 6 at a free event for the public at Eastgate Green where people can doodle, speed design, sculpt and draw.

On Tuesday, October 30, 10am-4pm, people are invited to turn cast-off socks into funky monsters, personalising pairs using a range of sewing and textile skills. For children aged 8, £5.
