CELEBRATE the history of dance music at the Hub in Sleaford.

The Hub Centre for Craft and Design has teamed up with artsNK to embrace dance music in all forms – from the jazz era and the development of pop to rock and contemporary hip hop.

The dance celebration, taking place on Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5, will bring to a close the Hub's Let's Play Records exhibition, which has been in place since July 17 to encourage the revival of vinyl records.

Activities will be taking place amongst a comprehensive display of album covers, charting album art work from the 1930s through to the present day.

Live music will come from organ trio The MC3, international acclaimed saxophonist Tony Kofi.

Members of artsNK's dance team will also be on hand to help teach revellers the twist, the boogaloo and the hand jive.
