Lincoln's High Street is bustling with activity with a new monthly market introduced this weekend.

Bizarre Bazaar is an open air vintage market offering a range of clothing, music, household items and memorabilia as well as food and drink stalls.

Over the summer months, the market will pop up in different locations across the city at St Marks Square on June 23, at the University of Lincoln in September and in The Cornhill on October 20.

The main location for the Bazaar is on the Upper High Street on April 21, May 19, July 21 and August 18.

Organiser, Paul Hencke said: "A lot of the local shops have got involved and we've also got people from outside Lincoln come along as well as internet and home businesses."

"It is nice to be outside when you're used to working in doors and it is nice to be on the High Street making the most of the passers by, the idea is to bring a feel of Camden Market."

The markets run from 10am until 4pm and stalls cost £20, discounted to £15 for multiple bookings.
