    “For the over 50's who have been unemployed for 6 months or more the tariff has increased from 16 to 30 hours before you can get working tax credits. Not many jobs with a part time minimum of 30 hours about.”

    “because of the changes this, has forced me to start claiming jobseekers as I am unable to increase my working hours and over the last 6 months have looked for further work to fill the gap I currently work 16 hours a week being a self employed distributor. I do believe this will happen for alot of people.”

    Surely as you are Self-employed you can work slower to increase your Hours. Obviously you will not get any more pay, but will qualify for Tax Credits.”

    “It does not effect lone Parents who still qualify at 16 hours. Only couple are affect by the changes.”

    “If Lincolnshire employers paid a respectable wage no one would need to claim anything off the state but because employers in Lincolnshire are so mean to pay respectable salary's then the uptake may be rather high.

    Just wish they'd spend as much energy getting and keeping a job.
    Paying tax is how we get this country back on the right road...ask the Greeks, many of whom don't pay tax, and set fire to their city when they are asked to.
    Its not rocket science - that's how you get a great boom and not a Tory bust.”
