AFTER losing my dog nearly three years ago, I am now the proud owner of a new one.

She is absolutely lovely (my retirement present), but alas things do not improve.

I meet other dog owners, who like me go out armed with plastic doggie bags, so how come there are still inconsiderate owners who walk away leaving a pile of 'doggy poo'?

No, it's not a pleasant job, but if it's your dog's mess – pick it up. Please do not make excuses, I can manage with a bad back and for the last few weeks a broken wrist.

Please thank all the people who talk to me as I walk around Coningsby with my new friend. She is still a bit nervous but getting more confident daily.
