No fewer than 16 presentations are being made during the day, which starts at 10am.
As you can see from the full programme on p26, Phil Bonner of Aviation Heritage Lincolnshire is giving half-hour talks on the RAF in the county from noon in The Kesteven Suite and 3.30pm in The Lindsey Suite.
Expert help in tracing family trees will be given by The Genealogist team in The EPIC Centre's Holland Suite.
The Lincolnshire Echo will be present with a stand and editor Steven Fletcher believes the event is a great opportunity for local families to find out more about past generations.
"Echoes of the Past is a really good chance for anyone to come along and find out much more about their family tree," he said.
Entry to the event is £4 for adults, under-14s go free and there are no parking charges on the Showground.
Visitors will also be able to get their hands on a new Lincolnshire Echo publication, called Lincolnshire Past To Present.
Using digital technology, our photographer Anna Draper has taken dozens of old photographs, then re-shot the photograph and merged the old and new images.
The result is a series of stunning shots that show old and new Lincolnshire in all its glory.
The picture special, priced £1, will be available at the Showground on Sunday and in newsagents and supermarkets next week.
Alternately, you can buy a copy at the Lincolnshire Echo offices in Brayford Wharf East.
