The Military Choir's programme will include Sing and Stronger Together as well as other pieces picked specifically for the evening including Will Ye Go Lassie Go and I'm Goin' Up a Yonder.
Chairman of the Sleaford and District Branch of the Royal British Legion, Ian Graham, said: "This will be the sixth such concert and at a new venue of course.
"It marks the beginning of the Poppy Appeal and it will make a major contribution.
"It should be a very interesting evening with the combination of the Sleaford Concert Band and the Military Wives Choir. I heard the choir in rehearsal and they are working really very hard and it sounded to me that it's going to be very good.
"There will be parking for cars in the quadrangle at St George's and plenty of seating for all."
The event has been supported by Lincolnshire Co-Operative Funeral Services and the Sleaford Target.
Target editor, Sarah Baker, said: "We are proud to be associated with the Sleaford Poppy Prom and have always been keen to support the Royal British Legion in helping to make this event a success.
"I attended the event last year and am very much looking forward to being there again this weekend. I hope that the community of Sleaford will turn out to support the Poppy Prom and enjoy a programme of great music and a bit of flag waving too!"
