Rob Scott believes Boston United's stunning post-Christmas form has gone unnoticed in the rest of the UniBond League Premier Division as his side prepare to wrack up another three points at Durham City tomorrow (3pm).

The Pilgrims have been in scintillating form in 2010 so far, winning six of their seven games in all competitions, scoring 26 goals in the process.

But despite sitting third in the table, Scott reckons United have dropped off their rivals' radar, having playing more games than their fellow promotion contenders.

However, with results going in their favour, like North Ferriby being held at Stocksbridge on Tuesday, Boston retain outside hopes of pipping long-time leaders Bradford Park Avenue to the title.

"Personally, I think there'll be a few twists and turns yet," declared the former Rotherham defender.

"We're just doing our job. No one is taking much notice of us because we've played more games than everybody else. But we'll just keeping winning our games and see where we end up."

Scott insists Boston will not go chasing double-figures when his free-scoring side visit basement boys Durham.

The Pilgrims pulverised the division's whipping boys 10-0 in January and spanked Ossett Town 7-0 at York Street last Saturday.

Boston boast the best goal difference in the division and many fans are expecting another rout on City's plastic pitch.

However, any victory will do for joint-boss Scott as the Pilgrims attempt to close the gap on leaders Bradford Park Avenue.

"We'll take a win at Durham," declared Scott. "I was having a bit of banter with the fans on Saturday.

"At 4-0, you could hear a few grumbling, but I'll take 4-0.

"I'll take a win whichever way it comes on Saturday – and in the following 11 games in the league. If they're one-nils, I don't care.

"I'm just looking at a victory. If it's 2-0, 3-0, I'm not too bothered as long as we win the game.

"As long as the performance warrants a victory, that's what we're looking for."
