Lincolnshire residents are being given the chance to gain an insight into how the county's largest community healthcare provider works.

Directors at Lincolnshire Community Health Service NHS Trust (LCHS) will be reviewing the first full year of operation at a public meeting on September 24 from 5pm to 7pm at The Bentley Hotel, Newark Road.

The public are being invited to hear the progress the trust has made and its ambitions to become a Foundation Trust next year. Copies of the trust's annual report will be available and representatives for a number of the trust's services, including membership, will also be there.

The public will also be able to address the trust's directors.

    “I wonder why these health trusts always hold their meeting in places where the public can only get there if they drive - Lincolnshire Partnership Trust does the same - I suppose its a good way to keep the public away from the so called "public" meetings.”
