Have a hoot with headline acts
Comedy fans are guaranteed a laugh when West Lindsey's top stand-up night welcomes a long-lost son.
Global star Andy White – who graced the Gainsborough Trinity Arts Centre stage before fame beckoned – is back on the bill for December.
He is joined at the Hoot Comedy Club by songstress Ruth E Cockburn, Martin Whitmore and resident compere Elliot J Huntley.
They will entertain at the Trinity Street venue's Christmas special on Thursday, December 6.

"Festive frolics will abound at the December Hoot with a wonderful mix of brilliant comedians for the Gainsborough folk," said promoter Anthony J Brown.
"Andy White is a sought-after headline act all over the world.
"And he is making a long-awaited return to Trinity Arts – while Ruth E Cockburn is a delight with her array of rib-tickling songs."
Ruth's comedy is described as "a perilously potent mix of spot-on, slightly surreal social commentary and brilliantly inventive, hummable and instantly hilarious songs."
Doors open at 7pm at the theatre for an 8pm show.
Tickets priced £6 are available from the box office on 01427 676655 or £7 on the door.
