Two men attempt 'armed' robbery at petrol station in Lincolnshire
Two men have attempted an 'armed' robbery at petrol station in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.
The pair, dressed in dark clothing and wearing balaclavas, entered the BP garage in Wisbech Road at around 9.15pm yesterday and demanded money from the till.

One of the suspects was carrying a weapon that has been described as a firearm.
They were disturbed by customers entering the shop and left empty-handed, before crossing the road and going into the field opposite. One of the men was carrying a bag.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the suspects leaving the area or who may have found discarded items of clothing in the vicinity.
