SWING into the festive season and raise money for charities by turning back the clock.

On Saturday, December 8, North Kesteven District Council's Chairman, Councillor Ray Cucksey is holding a night of nostalgia harking back to the 1940s in order to raise money for his charities; Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and LIVES.

For £15 guests can enjoy a supper of sausage, red cabbage and potatoes followed by a delicious homemade apple crumble at the event held in the chamber of the Council Offices.

The evening will feature Miller Magic, an orchestra made up of members of the Sleaford Concert Band, and guests can wear their best 1940s get up if they wish. There will be a prize for the best dressed, and you can try your luck at the raffle.
