For the customers that have smaller loads & non ferrous material ( copper, brass, aluminium etc), we have the yard at the top of great northern terrace ( onto the terrace, over the rail crossing, first place on the right ‘the railway forge’) this is a great place for customers to visit, no heavy machinery or lorries moving about makes this a pleasurable experience.

As you will have heard, on 3/12/12 a ‘cash for scrap’ ban came into force, this does not include cars, so we can still pay cash for cars.

We also offer a cheque cashing service. This costs 3% (£3.00 per £100.00), to do this you need to bring your picture driving licence/passport & a recent utility bill, under 3 months old. We take a copy of these, then give them back to you.
