Arlene: Tom and Austin my faves

Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips has admitted that she has a soft spot for dancing rivals Tom Chambers and Austin Healey.

The boys both performed a Viennese Waltz on Saturday night's BBC One show, scoring highly with the judges.

And Arlene admitted to Closer magazine that she had grown very fond of the pair: "Tom and Austin are my favourites. They're both handsome, noisy, confident guys. And they both move like pros - it's very sexy to watch! I love the rivalry between them - they both want to be the best, and I think they will go far."

But the 64-year-old says that Tom, 31, and Austin, 35, are far too young for her.

"They're babies, and young enough to be my sons!" she said. "I can certainly admire them from afar."

She added: "My friends all love Andrew Castle because he has a cheeky twinkle in his eye."

Closer is out on Tuesday.
