Help service grows

Lincolnshire's THINK text programme is now open from 8am to 2am.

It can be accessed by texting 84465 – and was launched by the Teenage Pregnancy Team at Lincolnshire County Council in 2007.

The aim of the service, which until now was only available between 8am and 8pm, is to lower the county's teenage pregnancy rate.

Advice is given about sex and where the nearest sexual health services are available.

Latest statistics from the Tackling Teenage Pregnancy team reveal there were 35.9 conceptions per 1,000 girls under the age of 18 in Lincolnshire.
