New chapter for Lincoln Cathedral
The book, called Capturing Lincoln Cathedral, contains photographs taken by members of the public and has been created by to raise funds.
More than 300 photographs sent in by people from as far away as Canada and Australia were eventually whittled down to 125 favourites.
Images include wistful rays of light drifting through the cathedral's windows, the building flanked by dark, stormy clouds and artistic reflections in rainwater puddles.
The book will now form part of a gift pack costing £9.99 which will be on sale in Lincolnshire Co-operative stores across the county.
The gift pack – which is worth £45 – also includes a free annual pass to the cathedral and a sturdy re-usable shopping bag.
Lincolnshire Co-operative and Ruddocks Design and Print have both backed the cathedral in creating the pack.
Cathedral fund-raising officer Sally Crawford (35) said: "Thanks to the help of the Lincolnshire Echo, which promoted the competition, we had an amazing response.
"I'm sure you can think of somebody who has everything and is always difficult to buy for. I think this is the perfect gift for them."
