Runner Tim gears up for double challenge

AN intrepid runner is making life doubly difficult when he takes on his next half marathon – by juggling at the same time.

Tim Butler, from Lincoln, has already completed a number of shorter races, including last year's Santa Fun Run, as part of a challenge to juggle and run 1,000 miles.

But as part of his preparations to become the first man to juggle and run from Land's End to John O'Groats, he will be tackling Sleaford's 13.1 mile course on Sunday.

"The challenge involves running while keeping at least one ball in the air at all times," said Mr Butler.

"If you drop a ball you don't have to start again, but can pick the ball up and start again from that point."
