Former newsreader from Lincolnshire contacts ITV bosses over Jimmy Savile grope claim
A former TV newsreader from Lincolnshire who claims to have seen Jimmy Savile grope a young girl has made contact with ITV bosses.
Alan Hardwick says he told his line manager at Yorkshire Television that he saw the Jim'll Fix It host squeeze a girl's bottom during filming in the 1980s.
Mr Hardwick's line manager offered an explanation, suggesting the girl was perhaps a relative of Savile.
And now the candidate for Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner has revealed he has contacted ITV officials.
