Two pet rabbits found dumped next to parked car in Boston street
THE RSPCA is appealing for information after two domestic rabbits were found dumped in a cage in Boston.
The rabbits were found by the side of a car belonging to a member of the public in the Oxford Street area.

They had been left in an indoor rabbit cage along with a bag containing wood shavings, hay and water bottles.
RSPCA animal welfare officer Becky Harper said: “The caller found them dumped next to her car.

“The rabbits are both in good condition and friendly and seem to have been well-handled – so it seems so sad that someone has just decided to dump them.
“It is such a shame that someone felt they had no alternative but to dump them, especially as it appears that until this happened they had been well cared for.
“But dumping animals is just completely irresponsible and it is lucky they were found and that they had not come to any harm, especially with these cold winter nights.
“We do not know what time they were dumped – but we would appeal to anyone with any information or who may recognise these rabbits to call me.”
One rabbit is ginger and grey in colour and female – the other is black and a neutered male.
The rabbits are now being cared for by fosterers from the RSPCA Lincolnshire East Branch.

“@ InsideStory: You're quick to band terms like; "Expensive Uniforms" "Fancy Titles" "High Salaries" "Sport of the rich" around, but not so good at giving the detail... Like, how expensive are these uniforms? and How "Rich" do you need to be to partake in shooting? You just sound like you have a chip on your shoulder about the RSPCA
Also notice you dont recommend any of these "well know animal charity's who dedicate their time free without any fancy titles,uniforms,salary's" ... helpful”

“I would not give the SPCA a penny of my money while they dress their staff in expensive uniforms and the people at the top earn such high salaries .And the experience's i have had with this outfit they don't fit their purpose ,no one answering phones phones,allowing farmers to breed wildlife,foul,game birds, for shooting (sport of the rich)I could go on but please donate your money to less well know animal charity's who dedicate their time free without any fancy titles,uniforms,salary's.”
