“If you don't believe Elvis was a one trick pony, siredwardvee, then that's fine. I'm happy to accept that is your opinion. But, it isn't mine and it will not alter.
Thank you for your reasoned postings.
Shootm***ea, how you must giggle when you type "research and take time" on each posting. Are you so dim, or have you forgotten that you included them in your first ridiculous posting. That's why they were in quotation marks.
Finally, if you reference the word, judgement, you will find it also means, the ability to form an opinion.”

"Sorry Lynn, I never liked the guy. He was vastly over-rated, relying heavily on his sultry looks to sell his music. Just my opinion though :-)"

Shoot, what part of "just my opinion" don't you understand?”

“As siredwardvee said it's NOT a case of liking Elvis, which you all seem too easily to misunderstand. But when people clearly highlight, they know nothing about the subject Elvis and say he 'heavily on his sultry looks to sell his music' or was a 'one trick pony' - you ought to "research and take time" to have foundations for that accusation. That's not an opinion that's a judgement.”

“Its not a case of just liking Elvis gsx-you said he was a one trick pony. He wasnt.
He co wrote some of his songs and as well as being a natural performer, he also did all the
musical arrangements for his shows. Who else would have had a gospel choir, a rock band and an orchestra all on stage at the same time? This was part of Elvis's musical legacy and goes far beyond being just a singer who got lucky. The techniques he developed in the late 60s and early 70s helped develop the whole music scene-and that is why his concerts-every single one-were always sold out. People will always want to see an original.”

“Grow up shootm***ea, to me Elvis Presley was ****, rubbish, awful. That is my opinion (and I didn't have to research it) and I care not about yours but I don't stop you from having one.”
