“Phil1W, i think you need to do some serious reading surrounding the life and times of MG's. The company did not just make MGB's and MG Midgets in the '70's! It made lots of wonderful sports cars and saloons from its start in 1924 through to 2005, from 'old number 1' to the modern day 2005 MGTF. These are all 'real British cars'! The latest models, the MG3 and MG6 are made in china but built in GB and thankfully carry forward the MG name into the foreseeable future. If you don't like them, then stay away, there are plenty of MG owners that appreciate all the different makes and models and reap enjoyment from them day in and day out!”

“Chinese imposters? What are you on? Do you even know anything about MG Rover and MG's history?”

“When I hear MG I think of an old British sports car. I've just been into town and seen these cars. Of maybe a dozen cars only two of them are what I would say can be called British MG's. They would be the 1975 MGB GT and the 1972 MG Midget, (the last picture). The rest are, to my thinking, Chinese imposters using the MG name!Where are all the "real" British MG's hiding? Maybe their owners won't insult their cars by lining them up at the side of these wannabes!”
