Our Boys

This country is precious and sublime and mine

But day by day we see it decline

With mums dads and families so sad

As they see their loved ones going somewhere bad

They give this country their utmost all

But only to see comrades stand and fall

They follow the call, to arms they must go

And no fear they will show

In these times what they see is such a disgrace

As all they got was abuse to their face

They marched through a town

And all we did was let them down

Those people shout and call those brave men

Who one day they would want to protect them

But instead we stand, our hands are tied

Knowing that these people have lied

When they can abuse and shout

Even though it's their freedom and safety it's about

How can we let our forces stand and cry

"That's my comrades" – and mates die

If these people don't support our boys they must know

To their homes they must go

They must abide by the laws of our land

Or from Great Britain they must be banned

We love and respect our armed forces

They always fight for rights and causes

This is to keep us safe and free

And keep Britain great for the world to see

So let's not let our forces down

As all they do is serve are crown

We must all remember what these Armed Forces give

And ask them to understand and forgive

The government that send them away

And their comrades into hell every day

So we must give our blessing and our all

To support our armed forces evermore

We must show the protesters the door

All the way to the foreign shore.

Of this land and forces I'm proud

So it's our job to shout loud

We all must stop this disgrace

And say that this country is a great place

And safe to all the human race

So let's not hang our head in shame

And support our troops to make Britain great again

The question I ask – who's to blame?
