Two professional footballers released without charge after alleged sexual assault in Lincoln
Police have dropped an investigation into two professional footballers who were alleged to have committed a sexual assault.
Detectives began quizzing the pair after they were called to a Lincoln flat on November 8 following a reported attack on an 18-year-old woman.

But a spokesman for Lincolnshire Police has confirmed that a "thorough investigation" has taken place and the charges have now been dropped.
"It has been established no offence has taken place and two men have been released without charge," the spokesman said.
