A SHOW full of one liners and 'terribly bizarre situations' awaits the audience at Fawlty Towers this week.
The latest show by the Louth Playgoers is based on the well loved 70s TV series and focuses around three episodes Communication Problems, Waldorf Salad and The Hotel Inspectors.
Director Sue Soper said that the theatre company often liked to start the new season of shows with a comedy and this one fitted the bill.
She said: "It's a very funny show and very fast.

"It revolves around all of the main characters including the very bizarre Basil and his wife."
The 17-stong cast have been rehearsing for the family-friendly show since earlier this year and it follows previous comedy performances of Are You Being Served and The Vicar of Dibley.
Sue said: "These comedies we put on were so popular that we had to add an extra two nights.
"So this time the shows start on a Friday and Saturday and will be on all week."
As well as a team full of talented performers the show is said to be performed on a "gorgeous" set and an important part of the costume has been acquired from original costume used in the TV series.
Sue said: "We have somehow managed to acquire the actual wig that Sybil Fawlty wore on the TV series.
"This is really going to be a cracking show and people would be silly to miss it."
