Call for speed enforcement in Boston street after pensioner has third car damaged
A DISABLED pensioner from Boston is calling for speeding enforcement to be put in place after three of his cars were damaged while parked on the street.
Alan Rowe, 69, had two brand new cars written off in the space of a year with the third one badly damaged last week.

DAMAGED: Alan Rowe from Boston is furious that another of his cars has been damaged in a crash while parked outside his house.
He said each car was parked outside his home in Freiston Road on each occasion.
The first car, a 61 plate Nissan Qashqai, was written off in September 2011 after a moving car drove into the back of it while it was parked up. It ended up in Mr Rowe's front garden and knocked down his fence.

The second, a 2012 Ford Focus, ended up half in the front garden after a vehicle collided with it in September 2012 and more recently, on January 12, his 62 plate parked Focus was badly damaged at the rear end after a neighbour's parked car was hit by a passing car and went into his.
Mr Rowe said: "On January 12 at about 9pm I heard this really loud bang. I went outside to see what it was. You buy yourself something nice and it gets ruined.
"The road is straight and fairly wide so I have no idea how this is happening, other than cars speeding along.
"Drivers using the road should be more vigilant and highways need to put some kind of enforcement in place to stop cars travelling down this road at high speeds.
"It's like sitting on a time bomb, waiting for something to happen."
Mr Rowe says he cannot park his car elsewhere as he is registered disabled because of back problems which restrict his walking.
Lincolnshire Police said a 36-year-old man had been arrested after the most recent incident for failing a breath test and was bailed.
A police spokesman said: "There was an RTC last October and a prior one last March but neither of those were drink related."

“Never mind about speed enforcement, what about some double yellow lines down both sides of the road and then he will have to stop using the taxpayers highways as a car park. They are for driving down, not abandoning vehicles on."
Except these people with "Disabled passes" don't bother about yellow lines, or junctions or bus stops on the other side of the road in fact as long as they can save themselves £2 they will park anywhere, witness the ignorant pass holders abandoning their cars outside the hospital on Greetwell road.”
