Staffing levels at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust were criticised in Sir Bruce Keogh's review of hospitals with high mortality rates and by the Care Quality Commission.
Since April, 165 UK-based nurses have joined the trust and 87 newly qualified nurses who trained in-house were due to start work this month.
