Air cadet on target for honour
A HIGH-flying air cadet from Boston has been honoured for playing his part in a prestigious rifle event.
Air Cadet Corporal Chris Jarratt, 16, was presented with his Certificate Of Attendance by Flight Lieutenant Robert Eyre, Commanding Officer 141 (Boston) Squadron, after a four-day Inter Service Cadet Rifle Meeting.

Cadet Corporal Jarratt, a pupil at Boston Grammar School, qualified as one of the top 500 cadets to attend the event, which is held at Bisley every year. Cadets from Canada and Australia were also present.
Cadet Corporal Jarratt described Bisley as a "great experience" and said he enjoyed meeting cadets from other units and overseas.
Now, the 141 (Boston) Squadron says it is keen to welcome new cadets and offer them the same opportunities.
Cadets can take part in flying, gliding, shooting, field craft exercises, camps, the Duke Of Edinburgh award, BTEC qualifications and other sporting activities.
The Air Cadets meet on a Tuesday and Thursday evening between 7pm and 9.30pm at the Squadron in Nelson Way.
