Full-time: Colwyn Bay 0-2 Boston United
Spencer Weir-Daley scored after just 11 seconds as Boston United ended their losing streak with a 2-0 victory at 10-man Colwyn Bay.
Weir-Daley's fifth goal of the season put the Pilgrims, who had lost their previous four Blue Square Bet North games, on course for a much-needed victory.

Boston were lifted again midway through the first half when former Premier League defender Frank Sinclair was sent off for a second bookable offence.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 64th minute when Marc Newsham scored from the penalty spot after Tom Ward had been fouled.

“Boston are playing Kettering I think. Gainsborough have to worry about Chester.”

“Well done Pilgrims after all the flack of the past couple of weeks. Not championship stuff , but a gentle step in the right direction. No need to fear Chester despite their seven straight wins, just like United's run of defeats all winning runs have to come to an end some time. United will be underdogs and have nothing to lose and plenty to prove. So I have a sneeky feeling Chester could slip at the eighth hurdle . . at Jakeman's Stadium Saturday. It might help if the 400 "missing" fans returned to York Street and got behind the lads to counter the large following who inevitably will travel from Cheshire to back their team. ( Chester's recent home games have attracted over 3,000)”
